It was later given a Christian name by the Crown of Arag\u00f3n, in 1248. Later, James II ordered its first remodel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although new changes and adjustments were made along the way, <\/span><b>the most significant reform took place under the reign of Philip II<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on the dates mentioned above. Subsequent attacks and aggressions, between the 17th and 19th centuries, resulted in further remodelling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 1963, it was transformed into a public, visitable location. The main new addition? The <\/span><b>Santa B\u00e1rbara Castle double lift<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
