Altorreal Golf Club in Murcia

If we have to highlight one golf club in Murcia, it’s the Altorreal Golf Club. Open since 1994, it was designed by former player and architect Dave Thomas, making it a very interesting course. It’s an 18-hole, par 72 course with lots of variety and challenge (you’ll have to use all the clubs in your bag). There are also water hazards, which are always exciting, and many tees of different colors.

In its facilities, you’ll find a restaurant, a cafeteria, a gym, sauna, locker rooms, and a shop, so you have everything you need. The club’s history is also made in its academy, where children and adults can learn, refine their technique, and practice ad infinitum. You can rent all the necessary equipment at the club, so you don’t need to bring your own (unless that’s important to you).

To get to the Altorreal Golf Club in Murcia, you have several options: if you’re coming from Murcia, it will take less than 20 minutes via the A-30. By the same route, it will take 1 hour from La Manga. From Alicante it will take about the same time, but you have to take the A-7. If you fly to Murcia International Airport, you can reach Altorreal Golf Club in just over half an hour.
