One tree planted for every booking

Since 2021, for each booking with Fidalsa, we have been planting a tree. We started this project by collaborating with the EDEN Reforestation Project, which works directly with communities experiencing extreme poverty as a result of deforestation and destruction of the land that sustains them. Their reforestation projects are located in Haiti, Nepal, Madagascar, Indonesia, and Kenya, and they plant tens of millions of trees every month, thus creating jobs to support them in restoring their local environment and, in turn, their economy in the long term.

We have always been concerned about expanding our collaboration in reforestation with a more local initiative, so that it would have a direct effect in one of the areas in which we work. In 2023, we began our collaboration with the Asociación Enamorados de Alicante, promoter of the 'Alicante Renace' project, which has the support of the Environmental Area of the Alicante City Council and the Ecological Transition Area of the Generalitat Valenciana. Since 2013, they have been working on reforestation in different urban forests in the city of Alicante. It is not only about planting a tree, but also about enhancing its environment. To do this, they use educational workshops on the environment for both adults and children. Awareness is one of the most important pillars of conservation.

In different reforestation projects in Haiti, Nepal, Madagascar, Indonesia, and Kenya. Also in Alicante (Spain).

Why is it so important?

Tree planting is essential to restrict the increase in carbon dioxide, collaborate with reforestation, and recover natural spaces. And at the same time, you help reduce extreme poverty in areas affected by deforestation.
